MLMs and work-from-home opportunities get a bad rap because there’s the stigma that they are pyramids.
A pyramid is perceived to be when one person at the top is getting rich while the people at the bottom are poor, sort of like when the pharaohs held a monopoly and hoarded their gold with their dead body in pyramids.
And for some reason, people automatically think of pyramids when they are approached about a work-from-home job or multi-level marketing opportunity.
But actually a job is more of a pyramid because most of the time the owners and presidents of the company are the only ones getting rich while the managers and regular employees struggle to get by.
Network marketing levels the playing field and makes every one an owner of his or her own business, which has great tax advantages, and their success is based on their efforts.
Be proactive, follow the system and you get rich. Complain and wait on others to move up and you fail.
Many network marketers are finding success and true financial security, more than they ever had on a job.
Network marketing has produced more millionaires than any other industry in recent years.
The idea of network marketing is for a person to find people who want more out of life to join the opportunity and work part-time following a system to create an ongoing monthly residual income to get ahead
of the bills and possibly to be wealthy.
The majority of people will never be wealthy on a job.
But being wealthy is pointless if you’re unhealthy. My 81-year-old grandfather likes to say, “If you have your health, than you have wealth. Lord, give me my health and I have wealth.” He uses the analogy of how a man could be a billionaire, but he can’t reach over on his nightstand and grab the phone due to his illness.
I like the fact that my network marketing opportunity is part of the $1 trillion health and wellness industry that is more profitable than oil. With this particular company, I can move ahead of the person who recruited me, so he can’t just sit back and get rich off me. I also like the new incentive to get any model Mercedes Benz, my dream car manufacturer, when I reach a certain level, and how I am close to being among the reps to qualify for a trip for two to Hawaii. With other work-from-home opportunities, I’ve earned trips to Alaska, the Bahamas and Beverly Hills, but I’ve never been to Hawaii and I look forward to it.
