You’ve heard the saying that the truth will set you free, but that’s not the case with the doctor under investigation for the suspected murder of the King of Pop.
Dr. Conrad Murray, who was paid $100,000 per month to be Michael Jackson’s personal physician as the pop star trained for a 50-night comeback tour in London, is a prisoner in his own home that police have raided for evidence in the manslaughter case against him.
Dr. Murray said he can’t even use the phone or email because of threatening calls and messages from MJ’s supporters.
So he released a video on youTube on Tuesday in which he thanked his supporters and explained that he told the truth to the investigators, and he stated that the truth will prevail.

Dr. Murray has admitted to police to giving Michael the drug Propofol, a strong sedative that is usually restricted to hospital operating rooms, to help the pop star sleep, and the doctor thought it would be okay to slip out of Michael’s bedroom at the singer’s Beverly Hills’ home to make phone calls. Of course, Michael never awoke from his sleep on June 25. His death was originally ruled a heart attack, but now officials suspect Propofol is what killed him. His autopsy records have been sealed, and all signs point to Dr. Murray.
Dr. Murray said he has faith that “the truth will prevail”, but unless his innocence is proven in a courtroom, he will be considered guilty by the public and remain a prisoner in his own home.
