If I asked you who Lisa Rinna is, you’d probably respond, “Who?” like everyone else I’ve asked today.
But if I add, “You know, the actress with the real puffy lips that you often see in the tabloids and you may have seen her on Dancing with the Stars.”
And then you’d respond, “Oh yeah” like everyone else I asked earlier today.
Yes, her. Mrs. Harry “Puffy Lips” Hamlin.
So considering people instantly identify the former Melrose Place and Days of Our Lives star by her obviously enhanced pucker, I can’t believe Rinna denied having any lip enhancement procedures during her appearance on The Today Show on Monday to promote her new book. Soap fans and tabloids buzzed about her enlarged lips long before Angelina Jolie rose to Hollywood’s A-list.
Rinna disclosed another zinger when she told Today Show hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb that she “was concerned about f—ing up her kids” by living in Hollywood, mentioning that the paparazzi often tail her and her actor husband, former Clash of the Titans heartthrob Harry Hamlin. Well, I think the puffy-lipped mother of two girls only has herself to blame if her 11- and 8-year-old daughters turn out like Paris Hilton.
Rinna is opening her home to film a reality TV series, and she is Playboy magazine’s latest cover girl with several nude poses inside because the 45-year-old said she wants to look back in her even older age to admire her younger body. She already posed nude for Playboy while pregnant with her oldest in 1998.
Her new book, Rinnavation, describes several positions for sexual intercourse in addition to losing weight and balancing family life, and she has dedicated the book to her daughters.
“Let’s face it my girls are going to be having sex,” Rinna said.
And if her girls do get into sex and plastic surgery, it will be because of mom’s influence not Hollywood.
