    Rihanna and Chris

It’s ironic how pop star Rihanna and R&B hearthrob Chris Brown have finally called it quits, but they still are headed in similar directions.
Aside from being spotted hanging out separately with friends, neither has publicly acknowledged what happened on the infamous night before the Grammy Awards in February that led to Brown being charged with two felonies for beating up Rihanna.
Rihanna, who has sold 12 million copies worldwide of her Good Girl Gone Bad album, has postponed her popular world tour, and she and her electrifying ex haven’t performed publicly since the incident.
But recently Rihanna and Chris have made highly-publicized videos. Brown made a home video that was leaked on YouTube declaring “he’s not a monster” and thanking his real fans for supporting him.
Now, Rihanna has made her first public performance since the Grammy incident as a vixen in Kanye West’s new “Paranoid” video. The uncut video, which has not been released, features Rihanna tossing and turning on a bed in lingerie and striking sexy poses for the camera.

Rihanna and Chris are each working on new albums, and Rihanna’s new song “Silly Boy” featuring latest pop sensation Lady Gaga is speculated to be about Chris. Some of the lyrics are:
“I said I’m not coming back. You fooled me once but you can’t have that ego turning.
Just too bad for you, that when you had me. Didn’t know what to do, she’s over you.
’Cause you had a good girl, good girl, girl. That’s a keeper. You had a good girl, good girl but didn’t know how to treat her.
So silly boy get out my face. Why do you like the way regrets taste?”

You can hear the demo for Rihanna’s “Silly Boy” on Kanye West’s blog

Also, Rihanna is taking acting lessons for her movie debut in Personal Protection while Chris is set to appear in his third film, which is untitled but expected to be a tearjerker.
And of course, the former lovers will appear in the same courtroom on June 22 when Brown’s hearing continues for allegedly assaulting Rihanna.
When will the sexy exes be able to go their separate ways?

  • Terminator and Batman star has no cell phone and 1-bedroom house

    Christian Bale

I’ve never been a fan of Christian Bale, star of Terminator Salvation and the last two Batman movies, because of his gruff voice and passive aggressive demeanor, which surfaced in his London arrest last July after his mom and sister accused him of assault and again on the Terminator set.
But I have a lot more respect for the 35-year-old British actor after finding out he doesn’t see the need for a cell phone and he lives in a one-bedroom house with his wife, Sandra Blazic, and their four-year-old daughter, Emmeline, who doesn’t have a nanny like most celebrity kids.
It makes me check myself and evaluate why I need a touch screen cell phone with cable TV and a two-story house when I don’t even earn 1% of Bale’s estimated $25 million-plus salary.
Now I sort of get why The Dark Knight star is so surly and unapproachable. Being an actor is just a way for him to earn a living to take care of his family, and when the camera’s not rolling, he just wants to be left alone to have a “low-maintenance” life.
“I do exactly the same as I’ve always done,” Bale said. “I don’t have an assistant. I don’t drive a flashy car. I do everything myself. I go to the supermarket myself, the hardware store.”
Bale has never offered an explanation for his family’s assault allegations, calling it a “private matter.”
And he shouldn’t. He’s a private man trying to be a responsible husband and father regardless of whether outsiders understand him.
