Teneshia’s books
Teneshia LaFaye has written two financial advice books and a commemorative journal for the life of Michael Jackson.
What My Mom Taught Me About Money is a financial advice book co-written by Teneshia’s teenage son, Darian Demetri. The book teaches middle school and high school students to form good financial habits and enlightens them about the pitfalls of money to start off on the right financial track. What My Mom Taught Me About Money is now available on Amazon and Teneshia’s publishing site.

Mom’s Money Lessons is Teneshia’s second book and changes the financial mindsets of working teens, college students and young adults to build their credit, encourage them to save and plan for retirement. The book also addresses why celebrities and lottery winners go bankrupts and the pitfalls of student loans. Mom’s Money Lessons is now available on Amazon and Teneshia’s publishing site.
I Was There, King of Pop Commemorative Journal is a 23-page journal of thought-provoking stories on Michael Jackson written by Teneshia in the seven days following the iconic pop star’s sudden death on June 25. The limited edition journal went on sale at Jackson’s public memorial in L.A., and a limited supply is available. It’s a great keepsake to remember the positive ways Michael Jackson has influenced all of us.
