Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift are one of the many affectionate couples portrayed by an all-celebrity cast in the new Valentine’s Day movie.
But of course, their real-life romance fizzled just before the new year, and neither Taylor has romantic plans for Valentine’s Day.
Taylor Swift, 20, who has made hit songs based on her breakups, said she is always single when Valentine’s Day comes around. So she plans to spend the day with her single female friends.
Taylor Lautner, who is single but hangs with pop singer and Disney actress Selena Gomez, has no Valentine’s Day plans and the Twilight star just spent his 18th birthday, on Feb. 11, in a private gathering with family and friends.
Older women celebrated for Taylor because he is no longer jail bait now that he’s an adult.
And as far as the celebration of Valentine’s Day, Ashton Kutcher, who also stars in Valentine’s Day, said he “hates” it and revealed his childhood disappointment.

Taylor Swift has endeared herself with teenagers, especially girls, by singing about teen love and her own heartbreak. Her songs even touched the hearts of the adults in the Recording Academy who awarded her four Grammys, one of which she dropped after the televised ceremony on Sunday.

Taylor, who just turned 20 in December, is the youngest to win the coveted Album of the Year. Previously, Canadian singer Alanis Morissette was the youngest winner of the award when she was 21.
Like Taylor, Alanis sang about love and heartache, but she had more adulterated content compared to Swift’s innocent, G-rated lyrics. For instance, Morissette’s 1995 hit, “You Ought to Know”, asked her ex if his new girl, “goes down on you in a theater” and “will she have your baby”. Alanis’ songs hit home with people of all ages all over the world for her debut album, Jagged Little Pill, to become one of the top selling international albums in the world. It has sold 33 million copies to date.
Taylor was a teenager when she made her innocent debut album, Fearless, that won her so much acclaim and so many awards during the last six months.
But The New York Times published an insightful article that discussed how Taylor is going to have to evolve into writing for a more mature audience since she is no longer a teenager.
Rihanna, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera are great examples for Taylor, as far as music goes. When Rihanna became an adult, she cut her long locks, dyed her hair black and released the album, Good Girl Gone Bad. An adult Britney sang about being a love slave in “I’m a Slave 4 U”, and Christina sang about getting “Dirty”. Britney and Christina took it a step further and French-kissed Madonna on MTV’s Video Music Awards telecast.
I don’t see Taylor Swift acting out to further her career, but it’ll be interesting to see if she makes the transition to more adult content on her next album.

Beyonce was on Taylor Swift’s side after Kanye West’s infamous protest that Beyonce should have won MTV’s Best Female Video award instead of Taylor.
But the two female singers will go head to head for the top awards (Album of The Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year) at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. Beyonce’s 10 Grammy nominations lead all artists followed by Taylor’s eight.
So what’s the difference between album, record and song of the year?
Well, Album of the Year judges the singer’s total compilation of songs on an album. Record of the Year rewards the singer of the best performance of a song, and Song of the Year honors the writer of the best song.
Lady Gaga, who has five Grammy nominations, was also nominated for the Grammys’ Album, Record and Song of the Year.

Taylor Swift’s heart has been broken again. So don’t be surprised if the 20-year-old country pop singer decides to pen a song about Twilight: New Moon cutie Taylor Lautner.
Early in their three-month romance, Lautner said he hoped to steer clear of Swift writing a song about him. But he can bet the singer will write a song about him after breaking up with her to date another actress, just as Swift’s former boyfriend, Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas did in 2008.
Taylor and Taylor, who met on the set of their soon-to-be released movie Valentine’s Day, never publicly confirmed their three-month romance, but the paparazzi’s pictures were proof enough and they eluded to dating on separate hosting appearances on Saturday Night Live.
According to several media outlets, Taylor and Taylor broke up before the new year because they felt the only thing they had in common was their names, and now the 17-year-old Taylor Lautner has “naturally” gone back with a girl his own age who he shares a lot in common with, especially their features.
He is suspected of being back with former down-low girlfriend, actress and budding singer Selena Gomez, who sang her hit song “Naturally” on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve telecast to help viewers ring in the New Year.

I wonder if Selena was talking about Taylor when she sang “you are the thunder and I am the lightning” in “Naturally”, which she recorded while dating Taylor earlier this year.

Gomez, star of Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place, and Lautner dated briefly during the spring and summer, but they always said they were just friends despite photos to the contrary.
I don’t blame the young celebrities for keeping their romance low key. They are young, hot talents who are bound to break up as their careers and other suitors pull them apart, and it’s good fodder for Taylor Swift to write hit love songs.

Country music sweetheart Taylor Swift beat out hip hop queen Beyonce again for an award.
Kanye West wasn’t there to protest.
But another rapper stepped to Taylor as she walked to the stage to accept her People’s Choice Award on Wednesday night in L.A. And a second rapper took the microphone from the 20-year-old “Fifteen” singer.
Rapper L.L. Cool J., now a leading actor on TV drama NCIS: Los Angeles, announced Taylor as the winner, met her halfway to help her up the stairs, and then he handed her the People’s Choice Awards’ 14-inch Waterford crystal trophy for Favorite Female Artist.
After Taylor’s acceptance speech, she handed the microphone over to host Queen Latifah, a former rapper and now Oscar-nominated actress, to go on with the show.
Taylor also won in the unofficial screaming category, where she drew louder screams of “Taylor, Taylor” from female fans in the audience than her now ex boyfriend, Twilight star Taylor Lautner, who received so many cat calls minutes earlier that he had to keep pausing during his acceptance speech for Favorite Breakout Movie Actor.
And rapper Kanye West, who both Taylors spoofed on two separate Saturday Night Live episodes for interrupting Taylor Swift’s speech for Best Female Video at the MTV Video Music Awards in September, was not on hand in keeping his word to lay low and self reflect after the MTV fiasco.
Still, Taylor appeared slightly hesitant to walk up to the stage and accept an award from another rapper after beating out Beyonce once again.
But it all worked out, and LL and Queen Latifah proved that there are rappers with class.

You probably didn’t even notice, but newly buff actor Taylor Lautner stood behind his girlfriend Taylor Swift while Kanye West rudely rushed the stage to interrupt the country singer’s acceptance speech for her first MTV Video Music Award in September.
Lautner, the werewolf hottie on The Twilight Saga: New Moon, presented Swift, who he was secretly dating at the time, with the VMA for Best Female Video and then stepped back while she gave her speech, which was cut short by West who expressed that Beyonce should have won. The Taylors met while filming upcoming movie, Valentine’s Day, due out in February.

Lautner admits he wished he would have defended his girlfriend, and he demonstrated what he should have done to the rapper during his Saturday Night Live monologue last Saturday. Reenacting the scene, Lautner showed off his martial arts moves, which included flipping, lots of kicking and spinning a sword, before he took off Kanye’s head to the cheers of the SNL crowd.

As a child, the 17-year-old Lautner earned a black belt and a junior world martial arts championship.


Shortly afterward, he became a child superhero in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl before taking on his current role of Twilight werewolf hero Jacob Black.

Much like winning an MTV Moonman award, Taylor Swift talked about how she wanted to host Saturday Night Live ever since she was a little girl.
In her first SNL appearance as host Saturday, the 19-year-old country and pop star broke into a musical monologue to open the show and sang about how she wasn’t going to mention Joe Jonas, talk about Kanye West or comment on the rumors that she is dating Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner.
But she did.
She sang to Joe, who publicly broke up with her after cheating on her with actress Camilla Bella, that she’s fine and hosting SNL. She winked, mouthed a “hi” to Taylor Lautner and blew him a kiss. As she wrapped up the monologue, two bodyguards appeared on stage with a sketch of Kanye, who had interrupted her MTV VMA acceptance speech, and shouted that SNL was going to be a great show because “Kanye West is not here!”
Swift, who appeared in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation earlier this year and just wrapped up the movie Valentine’s Day where she met Taylor Lautner, held her own with SNL’s veterans, portraying Kate Gosselin with a combed over, back-flipped wig as a guest on The View and wearing braces to portray a teen spokesperson in a commercial for TRAAPD (Teens Raising Awareness About Awful Parents Driving). In the TRAAPD commercial, she said that people complain about teens driving while texting, but parents are much more dangerous because they drive:
while lecturing to their kids
while trying to get something out of their purse
while trying to balance hot coffee
while rushing to a Nordstrom sale
while giving the talk about the birds and bees
while talking to the GPS
while revealing family secrets
while trying to find the cell phone you dropped
while having a sarcastic conversation with the car in front of you
while singing along to a song you don’t know the words to

Taylor also was hilarious as Bella in an SNL spoof of the Twilight movie, while trading barbs with an obnoxious wedding reception guest played by SNL queen Kristin Wiig and donning a goatie and corn rows as a tough ex con at a juvenile detention worker.
She ended her SNL appearance the way she began, singing. She sang her award-winning hit song, “You Belong To Me” and her new song, “Untouchable”.

It’s the fairy tale of two Taylors. She became America’s sweetheart when Kanye West dissed her on the MTV VMAs, and he’s the gorgeous, muscular star of teen vampire flick, The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
And apparently country music star Taylor Swift, 19, and movie star Taylor Lautner, 17, are sweethearts. Lautner, who packed on 30 pounds after the 2008 release of the first Twilight movie to keep from being replaced by another actor for the upcoming sequel, has appeared front row at one of Swift’s “Fearless” concerts and they recently attended an National Hockey League game at L.A.’s Staples Center.
The Taylors connected while filming romantic comedy, Valentine’s Day, which is due out in February. I hope the romance is real because Taylor Swift deserves some bliss after a public breakup with Joe Jonas of The Jonas Brothers and a worldwide televised diss from Kanye West.

Kanye West could blame chugging a bottle of Hennessy on the red carpet and while making his way to his front row seat at MTV’s Video Music Awards for his outburst that interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for best female video.
But instead the rapper blamed his public outburst on pain from his mother’s death nearly two years ago.
At first, I bought Kanye’s apology on the season-premiere of the Jay Leno Show on Monday night because the rapper admitted to his rudeness and almost broke down when Jay asked him what his deceased mother would have said about him grabbing the mike from Taylor to make a case for Beyonce winning the award instead.
Kanye said his mother would not have approved of his behavior, and he said he probably needed some time off to properly grieve his mom’s death and to work on improving his attitude.
But after further thought about the rapper’s apology, I feel that Kanye shouldn’t be allowed to hide behind his mother, especially when his previous behavior is evaluated.
This is not the first time Kanye, a spoiled only child, has put his foot in his mouth or entered the stage to contest an award.
In fact, a few months before his mother died from botched cosmetic surgery, he went on a backstage VMA tirade, saying MTV is racist for allowing Britney Spears to perform to open the 2007 awards show, and he said he would have been a much better choice than Britney, who received poor reviews for her performance. And a year earlier, he declared that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” in reaction to the then-president’s response to Hurricane Katrina. That same year, he went onstage at the MTV Europe Music Awards to contest that he should have received the best video award for “Touch the Sky.”
Kanye just needs to grow up and stop being a whiny momma’s boy when others don’t behave as he would like, especially when his mother is no longer around to offer a shoulder to cry on.

Beyonce had a shocked look on her face Sunday when Kanye West left his seat near her on the front row at MTV’s Video Music Awards to interrupt Taylor Swift’s acceptance of best female video for her hit song “You Belong With Me”.
After Taylor gushed about dreaming of winning a VMA, Kanye took her mike and pointed at Beyonce and stated that B’s “Single Ladies” video was one of the best of all time.
But Beyonce got an even better award, MTV’s best overall video, to close out the awards. However, the 28-year-old diva said she remembered the excitement of being nominated for a Moonman when she was a teenager with Destiny’s Child, and she summoned 19-year-old Taylor from backstage to finish her acceptance speech.

Taylor had already had the last laugh because shortly after Kanye’s outburst, she gave a lively performance of “You Belong With Me”, beginning in a New York subway and finishing atop a cab in front of a mob of fans outside Radio City Music Hall, site of the MTV awards show.
