Rihanna and Eminem have overcome depression and abuse (domestic violence for her, drugs for him) to produce amazing albums this year. Now, they have collaborated for the top-charting song, “Love the Way You Lie”, and it would have been entertaining to see them act out their rage together in the song’s new music video that premiered around the world on Thursday night.
But Em and Ri-Ri left the acting to professionals, former Transformers star Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan, a star in The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy and Lost TV series.
And boy was it great acting. The way Megan and Dominic deeply kissed and acted out their emotional anguish, it was hard to tell Megan had just come off her honeymoon with new hubby Brian Austin Green, a former star of the original Beverly Hills 90210.

Megan and Dominic steamed up the screen in another way by setting themselves on fire at the end to act out Rihanna’s chorus, “just going to stand there and watch me burn. That’s all right because I like the way it hurts.”
However, Megan and Rihanna didn’t appear in any scenes together to act out Rihanna’s fantasy. Last year, Rihanna revealed her attraction to Megan and how she would love to star in a movie alongside the Jonah Hex star as lesbian assassins.

People have speculated that Chris Brown and Rihanna are reuniting because Rihanna called her abusive ex-boyfriend to console him and commend him for his outstanding Michael Jackson tribute at the recent BET Awards that ended in tears when Chris couldn’t bare to sing the deceased King of Pop’s “Man In the Mirror”.
Rihanna and Chris certainly looked cute together and would make beautiful music. During their three-year romance, he wrote her a hit song, “Disturbia”, which describes his state of mind when he snapped and battered Rihanna the night before the Grammys in February 2009.

Rihanna’s rep confirmed that Rihanna and Chris have talked by phone, but the pair isn’t reuniting. A judge still has a 1,000-feet restraining order that demands Chris, who also takes court-mandating domestic violence classes, keeps his distance from Rihanna. She has moved on with Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Matt Kemp.
It’s speculated that the “Run It” singer would rush back to Rihanna if she would have him.
But I think it’s over for the two singers. Their latest songs are very appropriate for the situation. Chris has a top 3 video on BET’s 106& Park for his mix tape song, “Deuces”, in which he says “bye-bye” to drama from a girlfriend and is moving on.

Masses of people have lined up at AT&T stores across the globe for the last couple days to be among the first to own the new Iphone4. One lady where I live in Jacksonville, Florida, said she was in line for 12 hours. Some people camped out overnight for the phone’s Thursday launch.
But Rihanna and her boyfriend, Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Matt Kemp, strolled right into a Beverly Hills AT&T store so he could upgrade his cell phone. Rihanna wrapped her arms around Matt’s waist while he played with his new Iphone4 at the AT&T store service desk. But I wander if Rihanna already upgraded hers, because in order to use the Iphone4’s new “Face Time” video call feature, both people need to have the phone.

Rapper Drake said he loved and left many girls back in his native Toronto, Canada, but now he knows how the women must have felt after being tossed aside by Rihanna last summer.
In a recent interview, Drake said Rihanna used him as a “pawn” when they dated shortly after she broke away from exiled singer Chris Brown, who was sentenced to probation and community service for badly beaten her the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards in L.A.

Drake said Rihanna only pursued him to make her a hit song for her new album and dumped him when the song wasn’t released.
Well, things worked out fine for Rihanna, 22, and Drake, 23. She won a second Grammy Award for her collaboration with other rappers, Jay-Z and Kanye West, and she is on a successful worldwide tour, “Last Girl on Earth”.
Drake was nominated for two Grammys and performed at the 2010 Grammy Awards with Lil’ Wayne and famous drummer Travis Barker — before ever releasing his own album. Drake just released a highly anticipated debut album, Thank Me Later and is featured on the cover the of latest Billboard magazine.

The law went easy on Chris Brown for beating the crap out of Rihanna when they were dating last February. All he got was community service and probation.
But Chris is being hit much harder where he earns a living.
Radio stations don’t play his songs, and he has begged his fans to lobby for him. Now, he has been denied a travel VISA into the UK for his British tour. Meanwhile, Rihanna just wrapped up the UK leg of her successful tour, “Last Girl on Earth” and is back in the states to perform throughout the U.S.

I think Chris has learned his lesson and should stop being treated like a felon. UK authorities said Chris’ VISA was denied because he’s “guilty of a serious criminal offense” and therefore is a “danger to public safety”.
What a joke? Give Chris a break. He’s suffered enough. Rihanna is much stronger and making much better music. She has moved on to promote her new album, Rated R, and is definitely back on top to rebound from the humiliation at the hands of Chris that left her battered and forced her to cancel her 2009 UK tour for her previous album, Good Girl Gone Bad.
It’s kind of ironic because Chris and Rihanna shared a world tour in 2008 to spend as much
time together as possible. Here is a video of them singing a twist to Rihanna’s Grammy Award winning song, “Umbrella”.

Rihanna is dating hot Los Angeles Dodgers player Matt Kemp, and she says she’s not a lesbian.
But she makes it hard to believe she doesn’t like women when she admits to flirting and dancing with girls in night clubs and grabbing their boobies. Personally, Rihanna is a grown woman and may choose to date whatever gender she desires.
Her newest video for her song “Te Amo” is likely to fuel the lesbian rumors. In “Te Amo”, Rihanna sings about resisting a woman she meets on the dance floor, but the two-time Grammy Award winning singer doesn’t resist French model Leticia Castain in the video that premiered during Memorial Day Weekend.

A few days earlier, a video for Rihanna’s song, “Rockstar 101″, premiered featuring Slash from Guns N Roses.

Rihanna is in the middle of the European leg of her “Last Girl on Earth” tour with pop singer Kesha, who revealed a crush on Rihanna. With a hot man waiting on her in L.A., Rihanna may or may not have resisted advances from Kesha as they travel Europe together. That’s on her.
Anyways, Rihanna returns to the states in July for the U.S. leg of her tour.

Rocking her golden mohawk and a bad-ass, sexy onesie with a sword-shaped microphone stand, Rihanna rocked the crowd at the Super Bowl’s Pepsi Fan Jam on Thursday night in Miami. She sang “Wait Your Turn”, “Live Your Life” and “Disturbia”, her No. 1 hit written by her ex Chris Brown.

Before heading to the Super Bowl, she sat down with an L.A. radio station and said she is pulling for New Orleans to beat Indianapolis in the upcoming Super Bowl because its the Saints’ first appearance and would be a great comeback from Hurricane Katrina. She also talked about “Tick Tock” singer Kesha’s crush on her and how she also admires Kesha.

During a recent radio interview with radio and TV host Carson Daly, Rihanna said she’s not a fan of her boyfriend Matt Kemp’s L.A. Dodgers team because she doesn’t “know anything about baseball”.
In response, Carson Daly joked, “I have a feeling you’re getting up to speed rather quick, especially first, second and third base.”
Hilarious!
Rihanna also told Carson that she has received a lot of offers to break into acting in movies because of her popular “Shy Ronnie” skit on Saturday Night Live last year that has become viral on the Internet.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Rihanna and SNL’s Andy Samberg get nominated for an Emmy Award, just as Justin Timberlake did for two SNL performances with Samberg.

Yet Rihanna, who performed for millions of viewers on NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly, said she didn’t get an invitation to perform at the 52nd Annual Grammys Awards being held today because “we messed their show up pretty bad last year”.
She was referring to her and her ex Chris Brown skipping their scheduled individual Grammys performances after Brown brutally beat her the night before.

Rihanna appears to be fully recovered from her humiliation nearly a year ago after the public found out about her physical abuse at the hands of her then-boyfriend and now ex Chris Brown.
After numerous interviews at the end of the year to help young girls learn from her experience, Rihanna used her voice to help millions of NBC viewers ring in New Year’s.

Then she spent the first couple weeks of 2010 with her new boyfriend, L.A. Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp, relaxing in Mexico and attending NBA games.
Now, the Barbados-born singer has turned her attention to the Haiti crisis, where two massive earthquakes hit earlier this month to kill an estimated 100,000 and leave millions hungry and homeless.
Appearing on The Oprah Show on Wednesday, Rihanna sang Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” to draw attention to the suffering in Haiti, which is not far from her Caribbean homeland. Rihanna’s version of the song can be purchased on Itunes, and the proceeds will go to Haiti relief.
Rihanna said Marley’s song helped her get through difficult problems in her life. Ironically, Oprah sent a message to Rihanna that “he will hit you again” when she went back to Chris Brown last February after a photo of her battered face was leaked to the media. But Oprah didn’t mention the incident when Rihanna appeared on the show Wednesday.
Then on Friday, Rihanna teamed with Jay-Z and U2’s Bono to sing “Stranded” during the networks’ “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon to raise money for Haiti relief efforts.

So Rihanna recovered from her personal pity party just in time to use her talents to lift the spirits of others.
