Michael Jackson’s voice shocks on first day of his doctor’s murder trial
The doctor who delivered the prescription overdose that killed King of Pop Michael Jackson is finally facing trial for murder.
But Michael has been dead for two years.
Why has it taken two years for Dr. Conrad Murray to face a murder trial?
On the opening day of the doctor’s manslaughter trial, MJ fans from as far away as Africa and England screamed “murderer” as Dr. Murray made his way into court, and the prosecution played a tear-inducing audio recording of a face-to-face meeting between the legendary entertainer and Dr. Murray in which MJ sounded painfully belligerent from obviously heavy medication. He slowly slurred to the doctor: “When people leave my show, I want them to say,’I've never seen nothing like this in my life.’ ”
Dr. Murray was paid $100,000 per month to monitor Michael Jackson’s health while he prepared for a comeback tour in London. He gave a fatal dose of propofol to help the singer sleep, but while the doctor stepped away to talk on his cell phone, the King of Pop went into cardiac arrest and never resumed conscious.
This should be a swift trial. Guilty will certainly be the verdict on Dr. Murray unless the jury is delirious from some kind of drug.
See Dr. Conrad defend his death-inducing actions.
