Beware of frenemies, they have brought down Michael Jackson and many other stars

What’s worse an enemy or a frenemy?
A frenemy for sure because they know they are your enemy while you think they are your friend. Creepy, right?
A frenemy is more dangerous than an enemy because they can get close to you to do harm and their lies about you are believed by others because the frenemy is perceived to be credible because of your “friendship”.
Roman dictator Julius Caesar was stabbed to death in his back by his best friend, Brutus.
Mexican-American pop star Selena was shot to death in her back by her fan club president, Yolanda Saldivar.
Former Super Bowl quarterback Steve McNair was shot and killed in his sleep by his mistress.Even Michael Jackson’s record-setting music career was destroyed by two frenemies.
First, his 13-year-old friend Jordan Chandler accused Michael of forcing him to commit sexual acts in 1993, and the boy’s father dropped the charges after being paid $22 million in a civil lawsuit. Then, 12-year-old Gavin Arvizo accused the King of Pop of sexual misconduct in 2004 after he recuperated from cancer treatments with his family at Michael’s 2,500-acre Neverland Ranch and slept in the pop star’s bed. Michael was found innocent of all 15 charges involving Gavin.
Jordan Chandler, who is now in his late 20s, has come forward to say that he lied, too at the urging of his father to extort money from the pop star, who has been estimated to be worth a half-billion dollars since his mid 1980s’ Thriller album became the world’s best-selling record of all time.
“I never meant to lie and destroy Michael Jackson, but my father made me to tell the lies,” Jordan said. “Now I can’t tell Michael how much I’m sorry and if he will forgive me.”

Jordan said he always intended to come forward when Michael died, but he now wishes he would have cleared the pop icon’s name sooner.
“Now for the first time I can’t bare to lie anymore,” Jordan said. “Michael Jackson didn’t do anything to me, all was my father’s lies to escape from being poor.”
Michael, who holds the world record for the most charitable work by a pop star, took the betrayal from his frenemies and the public ridicule so hard that he got hooked on painkillers and sleeping pills that are suspected to be the cause of his sudden death at the age of 50.
I can relate to Michael’s anguish because my frenemy who is also a family member spread vicious lies about me when we were teenagers, but my faith in God allowed me to get through it.
The frenemies’ lies were too hard for Michael to bare, but now he is with his creator and no longer has to suffer.By Teneshia LaFaye
