Maxim mag claims to compile “the definitive list of the world’s most beautiful women, but how can it be without Halle Berry?
Ask any black man who is his dream girl and the X-Men and Catwoman star is usually named. Jamie Foxx recently found out that Berry was touched by his performance in The Soloist and he responded that Berry is the reason he makes movies. And on Access Hollywood earlier this week, ER’s Mekhi Phifer told Mario Lopez that Berry is the woman he’d most like to bed.
So what’s with the snub on the latest Maxim 100 that was released this month? Michelle Obama and Gabrielle Union are on the list, but not the Oscar-award winning and beautiful, biracial Berry. And what about the dis of Beyonce and Kim Kardashian, who are No. 52 and 53, respectively on the list while Angelina Jolie is a respectable No. 26?
To the mag’s credit, Maxim named Berry to its list of the nine hottest pregnant women, two years ago. But what about now that she’s lost the baby fat. Isn’t she just as hot or hotter than recently pregnant Christina Aguilera and Jolie, who made Maxim’s top 100 and top 9 lists.
Berry should be on Maxim’s 100 list, too. Well, at least Berry made AskMen.com’s top 99 Women of 2009, where she is ranked 13th, and she also is listed among People Magazine’s latest 100 Most Beautiful People in the world.
Who’s in charge of Maxim’s list? It certainly looks more questionable than definitive.
